In my hopes of wishing you all a new year full of good reads, here are a bakers dozen of terrific thrillers to get you started. To enter, go to the Win Books page. Best of luck!

Series thrillers are always a sure bet; if you like one, there are always more! THE FIRST ORDER by Jeff Abbott is the latest in the Sam Capra series. Tami Hoag brings back Kovac & Liska in THE BITTER SEASON.  Gregg Hurwitz introduces a new series featuring Evan Smoak,  a man with skills, resources, and a personal mission to help those with nowhere else to turn, in ORPHAN X.

Kidnappings are the stuff of nightmares and expertly explored in THE LOCKER by Adrian Magson and DIG TWO GRAVES by Kim Powers. Tim Washburn proposes a dystopian nightmare in POWERLESS. Animal lovers won’t want to miss SHOW AND TELL by animal expert Amy Shojai.

California is the setting in FORTY THIEVES, a standalone by thriller favorite Thomas Perry. Darynda Jones explores amnesia in THE DIRT ON 9TH GRAVE. Thriller and Shamus Award winner Vincent Zandri brings us his latest, THE ORCHARD.

International thrillers are always a good bet, like KNIGHT’S CROSS by the fabulous Christine Kling and TRACK THREE by John. H. Gibson. Finally, historical mystery fans won’t want to miss MURDER IN TUXEDO PARK by William E. Lemanski.

You can win autographed copies of all these books! If you are new to the site, each month I run a contest in conjunction with the International Thriller Writers organization. We put together a list of books from debut authors to bestsellers, so you can win some of your favorites and find some new favorites.

What makes this contest really special is that all of the books (except eBooks) are signed by the author! Books with multiple authors will be signed by at least one of the authors.

Don’t forget, if you subscribe to the newsletter or follow this blog, you get an extra entry into every contest you enter. Check out the Win Books  page for more information on all these books and how you to enter this month’s contest.

Finally, Amazon is offering a Prime Video 30-Day Free Trial, which I highly recommend. Check out Bosch, based on Michael Connelly’s Harry Bosch series, and tons of other great original programs including the Emmy Award winning Transparent Season 1 or the new Transparent Season 2, TV shows, movies and documentaries.

Thanks for reading, and good luck!
